Sellers may list equine goods such as tack, clothing, equipment, and Horseboxes/ trailers on The Equine Market website. All listings must be accurate, complete, and in compliance with our listing guidelines. We reserve the right to remove or suspend any listings that violate our terms and conditions.
5. BUYING AND SELLING
As a company dedicated to serving the equestrian community, we strive to provide a safe and reliable platform for buyers and sellers to transact. We act as the host for Buyers and Sellers- We don’t buy or sell Items on the equine market
By purchasing items on The Equine Market, you agree to pay the seller the agreed-upon price for the item(s). By selling items on The Equine Market, you agree to ship the item(s) promptly upon receiving confirmation of the sale and to accurately describe the condition of the item(s)
- Authenticity and Transparency: We encourage all sellers to provide accurate and detailed descriptions of their products, including photographs, measurements, and any imperfections. Buyers should also ask for additional information if needed before making a purchase.
- Secure Payment Methods: We use stripe for all financial transactions which gives security and protection to both buyers and sellers from fraud and scammers. Avoid making payments through wire transfers or direct bank transfers.
- Communication: Clear and timely communication is key to a successful transaction. Sellers should respond promptly to inquiries and provide updates on the shipping process. Buyers should communicate any concerns or issues with the seller before leaving negative feedback.

- Shipping and Returns: Sellers should package items securely and ship them promptly after receiving payment. Buyers should read the shipping and return policies before making a purchase to avoid any misunderstandings later on.

6. PAYMENTS, PURCHASES AND REFUND POLICY
Payments for goods and services on The Equine Market are processed through a secure payment gateway- Stripe. We do not store or have access to your payment information. All transactions are subject to the terms and conditions of the payment provider. Stripe will charge a processing fee on top of your purchase fee. The Equine Market Ltd will charge a buyer protection fee as well as a service fee on top of your purchase. Our buyer protection fee is 8% of the purchase price, our service fee is 50p per transaction.
Refunds are assessed on a case by case basis. We charge a buyer protection fee which aids you in the refund process if your item does not arrive or gets damaged whilst being delivered. Unfortunately, our refunds policy does not cover items that don’t fit you or don’t suit you. You can still talk to the seller about a return, but it’s their decision whether to accept the return or not.
7. DISPUTES & HOW THEY ARE HANDLED
Disputes between buyers and Sellers (including refunds and cancelations)If a buyer has a disagreement with a Seller, the buyer should contact the Seller directly to first try to resolve the issue between themselves. 8. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
You may not use The Equine Market website for any unlawful or prohibited purpose. This includes but is not limited to: engaging in fraudulent activities, violating the intellectual property rights of others, and posting inappropriate or offensive content. We have the right to block, withdraw or withhold transactions if the listing is deemed prohibited
